Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan’ is a national program for educating and popularizing science among school students of classes VI to XI standards. The online exam for the year 2018 was conducted on 28th November. The meritorious students of St. Angel’s participated with their scientific insight. The resource person Mr. Lucky Puchhrat mentored the students, that sincerity, self-evaluation, and self-confidence are the three steps to developing intra-personal skills
St. Angel’s organised a special assembly for primary department on the occasion of Dussehra. A beautiful and melodious bhajan was sung by the musical choir of St. Angel’s, headed by the teachers of music department, Mr. Sukant and Mr. Gaurav. Different students of primary department enacted scenes from Ramayana. All the scenes and characters advocated the goodness of Lord Rama. The moral significance of Dussehra “the victory of good over evil” was successfully imparted to the students.
St. Angel’s Sr. Sec. School organized a special assembly spreading awareness about self-defence and its importance in today’s era. Miss Geeta, Head Constable of police gave techniques and various ways of overcoming threats in daily life. Firstly, there was a warm-up session, after which various moves were taught. This step was truly beneficial to the students as they were given exposure to various defence techniques. Angelians were rejuvenated by such an energising programme which activated their spirits. The session was truly beneficial and finished off successfully.
Creativity enhances imagination and in turn expands thinking skills. Keeping the same aim in mind, St. Angel’s School organized a ‘Paper Bag Making Activity’ for the students of Class V. The students energetically participated and made paper bags in the leadership of Ms. Poonam Kumar, the drawing teacher. This activity is also helpful in instilling the feeling of using eco-friendly products to save the nature.
Life is full of competitions that force one, do one’s best. The students of St. Angel’s School keep on proving the aforesaid statement every now and then. The school likes to declare with pride that the angelites bagged first position in ‘Rashtriya Group Song Pratiyogita’ among 12 schools organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad. A team of 8 boys participated in Hindi, Sanskrit and a folk song with great enthusiasm and vigour. The distinguished guests Mr. Trilok from BJP and Mr. Vineet Garg, the President of Bharat Vikas Parishad too congratulated the boys for their marvellous performance.
